Exploding combustible target violation on the range facility between August 14th and 17th 2017. Fellow members, it has come to the attention of the Board of Directors that someone has been using exploding targets on the range between the aforementioned days. We have not compiled conclusive evidence on the offending parties in this matter at this time. This incident occurring during a record breaking fire/dry season, illustrates why exploding and combustible targets are banned on our range and every other responsible range in our area. Though the majority of us are responsible members of the club and the community in general, we cannot assume all share the majorities good sense. If a member is caught using banned targets on the range, they will be expelled from the club immediately fore the safety of all members and their fob deactivated. In accordance with our existing club bylaws the expulsion will be processed at a directors or general meeting ( a meeting of the club) . The safety of the members and the club’s facilities is every members responsibility.
